Xi Long, a seedling version of Xiao noodles.

A tiny 3D printed Ball jointed Doll kit from May 2021. These kits are put together by just 2 people and waiting times can sometimes get extensive. We are currently experiencing a large volume of orders so please be patient. If patience isn’t you’re thing (we understand!) our kits may not be for you. Each bloom is made to order in the colour of your choice.

As these are a kit for you to finish at home, there will be flaws and marks that can be easily sanded away. This is a normal part of the production process and nothing to worry about. You must spray your doll ENTIRELY with uv cut sealant to protect them from the sun. Since they are made of a photopolymer resin, this step is vital to keep your bloom safe and strong for years to come. INVEST IN A DECENT MASK and always wear when working with resin or sealant.

This is a fun little project that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your skill level. They will be sent unstrung so that you can work on the parts easily and all magnets and elastic will be provided as a part of the kit.

Eyes are available separately as well as wig kits for you to make wigs for your bloom. Tutorial to come soon.

  • Scissors

  • 1.5mm crochet hook is incredibly useful but not necessary.

  • Lower grit sandpaper (600+ if sanding by hand) or a dremel with abrasive ‘fuzzy’ attachment.

  • High Grit sandpaper (1500+) for finishing

  • UV Cut spray.

This bloom will be sent with all elastic and magnets required to put her together. We use a tension bar system in the neck so no S-hook is included.

 

Do not forget to spray the entire doll with UV cut spray after sealing! This will protect her resin!

X I A O L O N G - T H E L O N G E S T N O O D L E

 

Long before Frappzilla existed, my family ran a Christmas Decoration company. We supplied department stores, garden centres and gift shops all over the UK with seasonal decorations (but heavily Christmas focused) and this led my family travelling all over the world for exciting new manufacturers and to build a relationship with them.

Over time, a friendship was formed with a family in China. Family business working with another family business. The owners name was Xiao, with his son known as Xiao-Xiao. They visited us in the UK and Xiao Xiao eventually even studied at a local university to our HQ. We designed the products and Xiao and his team created them for us and between us we created so many beautiful things. They were a huge part of our lives and I learned so much about running a business from working with them and creating. This is my little tribute to that.
