Advent Day One: Filigree Deer Mask
Happy Holidays dear friends and welcome to the first day of our Ad(e)vent! Each day leading up to Christmas Eve, a new item will appear in the store! On most occasions these items will be listed for 24 hours before being removed, except on Sundays and the 23rd which are like our usual bloom days!
To kick off this fun event, we have a beautiful filigree mask for blooms.
In these photos you’ll see two prints. The first one was a little translucent so it was reprinted in a whiter resin (which is what you would receive) but the light had run out by that time! I’ll update some better photos tomorrow if I am able.
The mask has two small loops that will allow you to thread through some elastic or ribbon but can also be attached with putty if preferred. It will comfortably sit on the side of the head or forehead comfortably. It is made for all blooms with the faceplate system.
A small piece of felt is included to protect the dolls faceup from the inside but you could decorate it in any way that you’d like. Use fairy lights, wrap the antlers in coloured threads, gold gilt or even tie dye it! Pearlescent, chrome and mirror powders would produce something really beautiful by simply rubbing it on the surface.
This mask is incredibly elaborate with filigree carving and the antlers are intricate. As such it is printed in a very durable resin which does cost more than our standard resin. Its also really large!
