Ju-Long the mini noodle (Leafling)
Ju-Long. A mini version (with an updated face, ears and tail tip) of our May 2021 Xiao.
Xiao was a very beloved bloom but due to the complexity of making these hyper-jointed noodles, they were extremely limited. As such, we have bought back a teenier tinier version in leafling size. Ju-long is Xiao-long’s little sibling/child and comes with two faceplates. Open eye and Dreaming. They come with transparent sub wings, horns and the original tail tip along with a beautiful alternate rose tail tip. Ju-long comes in a beautiful lilac leaning delicate pink (like an orchid) and a choice of three colours for the transparent pieces and rose tail attachment.
Blue, Yellow and Rose.
Blue is the most limited followed by yellow and rose.
Ju-long is still a very limited dragon and contains a lot of parts. They are very very articulated and able to hold a huge variety of poses.
We are not certain if noodle dragons will return in future but if they do, they will not be Ju.
A tiny 3D printed Ball jointed Doll kit from July 2023 for our reopening event. They are a limited edition of just 14 pieces.
Our products are now pre-made before sale but we ask that you allow several days for us to ship them out due to the ongoing sale event.
As these are a kit for you to finish at home and will need light standing and stringing work. There will be flaws and marks that can be easily sanded away. This is a normal part of the production process and nothing to worry about. You must spray your doll ENTIRELY with uv cut sealant to protect them from the sun. Since they are made of a photopolymer resin, this step is vital to keep your doll safe and strong for years to come. INVEST IN A DECENT MASK and always wear when working with resin or sealant.
This is a fun little project that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your skill level. They will be sent unstrung so that you can work on the parts easily and all magnets and elastic will be provided as a part of the kit.
Eyes are available separately as well as wig kits for you to make wigs for your doll. Tutorial to come soon.

Scissors
1.5mm crochet hook is incredibly useful but not necessary.
Lower grit sandpaper (600+ if sanding by hand) or a dremel with abrasive ‘fuzzy’ attachment.
High Grit sandpaper (1500+) for finishing
UV Cut spray.

1 Rose Tail tip attachment.
This kit will be sent with all elastic and magnets required to put them together. We use a tension bar system in the neck so no S-hook is included.
If you need to grab any extra magnets or elastic in future:
Clover faceplate 3x1mm magnets x4
Ears 4x2mm magnets x2 + x2 3x1mm magnets
Elastic 0.5mm
Do not forget to spray the entire doll with UV cut spray after sealing! This will protect her resin!
