A tiny 3D printed Ball jointed Doll kit from April 2021. These kits are put together by just 2 people and waiting times can sometimes get extensive. We are currently experiencing a large volume of orders so please be patient. If patience isn’t your thing (we understand!) our kits may not be for you.

Sprout comes in both Seedling and Bloom size.

As these are a kit for you to finish at home, there will be flaws and marks that can be easily sanded away. This is a normal part of the production process and nothing to worry about. You must spray your doll ENTIRELY with uv cut sealant to protect them from the sun. Since they are made of a photopolymer resin, this step is vital to keep your bloom safe and strong for years to come. INVEST IN A DECENT MASK and always wear when working with resin or sealant.

This is a fun little project that can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your skill level. They will be sent unstrung so that you can work on the parts easily and all magnets and elastic will be provided as a part of the kit.

Eyes are available separately as well as wig kits for you to make wigs for your bloom. Tutorial to come soon.

Supply List;

  • Scissors

  • 1.5mm crochet hook is incredibly useful but not necessary.

  • Lower grit sandpaper (600+ if sanding by hand) or a dremel with abrasive ‘fuzzy’ attachment.

  • High Grit sandpaper (1500+) for finishing

  • UV Cut spray.

This bloom will be sent with all elastic and magnets required to put them together. We use a tension bar system in the neck so no S-hook is included.

 

Do not forget to spray the entire doll with UV cut spray after sealing! This will protect her resin!

Sprout. The Gardener of Everything.

Sprout is the caretaker of the garden of imagination. Its their love and care that helps grow and bring blooms to life. Sprout is a nurturing soul and a healing one too.

I'm not sure why they ended up a a garden pixie but It was actually one of the first blooms I designed. The original Sprout was actually a pony! A scruffy little 12 hand rescue that was given to me when I was going through a rough time being bullied at school. Sprout had been abused and kept in a garage where he couldn't even stand up, ironically by one of the bullies at my school. He needed nurturing and healing and so did I. My mum's friend who owned a stable yard gave him to me, for me to look after, in the hopes that I might make friends there. And i did. I loved that little pony with my whole heart. He wasn't for riding as he was far too small for me, just a little friend to tend to and to care for. He had a personality that was larger than life; ALWAYS so so HAPPY to see anyone that would give him some attention. Sprout got me through my teenage years and sadly is no longer with us but I tried to capture his charming, cheeky personality in Sprout, the little pixie. I hope that working on him might bring you a sprinkle of joy and a handful of healing like the real sprout gave to me all those years ago.
