Charmys take a special size of eyes. While they can fit in a smaller and a larger eye, we recommend the charmy made mama frapp (9.5mm)
Charmys come with ONE basic tail loop. Additional tail loops will be available separately but currently only to those that adopt charmys. Others may be added at a later date. Charmy’s are their own unique size and are designed with their tails in mind, hence the wide feet with surface area to aid in standing! You will have to fashion your tail yourself however you please but its incredibly simple! You can just attach fibres using a slip knot technique and tie on beads. We will add different types of tail connectors next week.
They come with one face only.
They stand (proudly) a smudge under 18cm which is a bit bigger than a biggle.

Charmys have been a heartfelt project for at least a year.
Last January I lost my cousin to cancer. Since Mama Frapp is a weaver, she was sent some of his old clothes to turn into a wall hanging for his little girls. I kept some pieces.
I was trying to think of a way I could turn them into something special that I could keep with me forever. I considered a bracelet, or tucking it into a journal, but that didn’t feel like It honoured him in the right way. So Charmy’s were born. A way to take the sentimental tiny little pieces that we hold onto. Whether that is Grandma’s old thimble, a friendship bracelet that broke, tickets from a special day, ribbons from a wedding bouquet, clothes from a passed loved one, or clothes your child outgrew, you can savour these little pieces in a beautiful tail for your Charmy. A companion who will guard those little pieces of our lives.
But what is a Charmy you may ask?
Charmys: The Collectors of Trinkets
Scientific Name: Charmelionis Curiosus
Appearance: Charmys are small, delicate creatures with soft, expressive faces and large, scalloped, alert ears that are perfect for listening for the slightest rustle of treasure. Their most distinctive feature is the connector at the base of their spine, where they attach their unique charm tails. These tails are adorned with threads or beads, and found trinkets varying from simple to elaborate displays of their personality status, or even history. Their ears also have small holes or loops, allowing them to attach additional charms; either for balance self expression, or subtle sound based communication. Charmys are naturally drawn to small, shiny, and interesting objects. From birth, they begin collecting and curating their charm tails, which become an extension of their identity. No two tails are alike, and some Charmys will trade, gift, or even steal charms to enhance their personal collection. Some believe that older, heavier charm tails signify wisdom.
Young Charmys often start with simple threads before incorporating more ornate pieces. Certain charms may be passed down through generations.
There are many theories as to why Charmys are obsessed with collecting trinkets: Charmys are naturally creative and use their tails as living art pieces. Some add jingling bells or sharp edged charms to startle predators or signal danger. In some legends, certain charms carry luck, protection, or even memories. Some Charmys are particular about their collections, curating based on color or shape, while others gather anything that catches their eye, creating a more chaotic but charming effect.
Charmys are social but have unique ways of interacting:
Charm Trading: Exchanging charms can be an act of friendship, courtship, or even a formal agreement.
Earring Charms: Some groups wear specific ear charms to show their status, achievements, or allegiances.
Charm Snatching: While playful in nature, some young or mischievous Charmys may “borrow” trinkets from others.
